If you're playing with a controller and like to use melee, you might find that some melee weapons are more difficult to use and aim properly than others. Some enemies and bosses are easier to fight with ranged weapons than using melee weapons. Ranged weapons should be crafted and/or obtained as early as possible. Have small, achievable goals as you play the game.If you want more of a particular resource, create a Classic world, load that world with your (over-powered) character, and search or farm the resource.For example, use a bunch of torches to create a visual design such as a 4x4 block of torches, which should be easily recognizable on your world map. Consider keeping everything you find while exploring.When you need to unload your inventory into various chests, the icon is immensely useful as a way to automatically unload items from your inventory into nearby chests containing the same items. Similarly, open your inventory and locate the icon that says "Quick Stack to Nearby Chests". If items in your inventory are scattered here and there, the icon is useful as a way to collect items together and organize them along adjacent storage cells. This icon automatically sorts items in your inventory by item type. Open your inventory and search for the icon that says "Sort Inventory".Construct a dedicated area for your storage chests, armour sets, weapons, and other loots. Put some time and effort into your storage organization. These and other items can increase your mining speed. Obtain the Mining armour set and the Ancient Chisel as early as possible.Once you have the best possible weapon for a particular point in your game, consider upgrading your armour set to the best quality possible.
